About The Author

K.C. Marshall is a hard-working author, poet, and student of human experience throughout her life. She incorporates passion with cultural dimensions in her work and provides her readers with strong stories and poetry that resonate at the core of who one is, what one can endure, and what one can accept.

Having started writing very early in life, the K.C. voice has now grown to be a voice of clarity, strength, and grace. She thinks that life is a gift and an experience, one that should be enjoyed with thankfulness and readiness to improve. The storytelling force to evoke unity and therapeutic constructiveness is both emulated in her literary pieces, such as the poetry compilation ILLUMINATIONS and the novel My Sisters Veil. K.C. is presently engaged in completing other titles in her series, namely My Brother’s Crown and My Mother’s Prayers.

In her writing, she tries to inspire, empower, and represent the lived experiences of those unheard of. She asks the readers to think, feel, and light their way.
