ILLUMINATIONS is not just a book; it is an emotionally moving event. The poems are intensely personal and hugely relatable at the same time. K.C. Marshall writes with sincerity, bravery, and passion. And I was laughing, and I was crying, and I was even cogitating--all in the same sitting.”

Hennry Deno

This anthology is something that affected me in ways that were not anticipated. The poems are gritty, and so are the short stories, which remain in your head way after you finish reading the book. Her voice is bold, beautiful, and necessary in today's world.”

Chris Mark

And those truths, and those beauties that are to be found on every page of ILLUMINATIONS, are certainly in places much less expected. The words are poetic but poetic down to earth, the messages calling upon real-life problems and victories. I couldn't put this fascinating book down, and I absolutely recommend it to all those who love honest, provocative writing.”
